2. What information we collect

We collect only what we need to respond to you and fulfill any order you place:

• Information you give us voluntarily through our contact form or by email, such as your name, email address and message.
• Information needed to ship and invoice an order, such as your shipping address and phone number.
• Anonymous, aggregated usage information collected by our analytics provider — page views, country, browser type, and referring website. We do not collect IP addresses in identifiable form.

We do not collect payment card details on this website. Invoices are sent and paid through third-party processors (Square or Stripe), which handle card data under their own privacy policies.

3. How we use your information

We use your information only to: (a) reply to your message; (b) prepare, send and deliver an order or invoice; (c) understand which pages of this website are most useful so we can improve them; and (d) comply with applicable tax and consumer-protection law.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share limited information only with the service providers that help us run the business: our email host, our shipping carriers, our payment processor, and our website analytics provider. Each of these acts as a data processor on our behalf and is bound by their own privacy policy.

6. How long we keep your information

Contact form submissions are kept in our email account for up to 24 months and then deleted unless they relate to an active customer relationship. Order records are kept for 7 years to comply with U.S. tax law.

7. Your rights

You may request a copy of any personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To exercise these rights, write to admin@marcrbutler.com. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Children

This website and our products are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will also be announced on our home page for 30 days.
