Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of marcrbutler.com and any services provided by Butler Greenscapes, LLC ("Butler Greenscapes", "we", "us"). By using the site or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Estimates and proposals

All estimates are free and valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise noted. Estimates may be revised if site conditions, scope or material costs change materially before work begins.

2. Scheduling and weather

We schedule maintenance visits on a routed weekly or bi-weekly basis. Severe weather may shift visits by 1–3 days. We do not skip — your scheduled visit will be made up the same week whenever possible.

3. Payment

Maintenance is invoiced monthly, due net 15. Design-build projects are 50% deposit at signing, balance due upon substantial completion. Late balances over 30 days accrue 1.5% per month. We accept ACH, check, and major credit cards.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel a maintenance agreement at any time with 14 days’ written notice. Design-build projects are cancellable up to 7 days before scheduled start; deposits are refundable less any non-recoverable material costs.

5. Workmanship guarantee

We guarantee our installation workmanship for 12 months. Plant material is guaranteed for 30 days when watered as instructed. Hardscape installations carry a 5-year structural warranty.

6. Property access and damage

By scheduling service, you grant us reasonable access to the property during stated hours. We carry $2M general liability insurance. Pre-existing irrigation lines, low-voltage cables and utilities should be marked by the client; we will exercise reasonable care but cannot be responsible for unmarked underground items.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages.

8. Website use

Content on this site is provided for informational purposes. You may not reproduce, scrape or redistribute content without permission.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Montgomery County, Maryland.
